Angels of History was co-founded by Daniel Eisenberg, Alex Eisenberg and Lea Misan.
We are therapists and facilitators who have been working with groups of people with Jewish ancestry to navigate the impact of our collective past since 2018, and much longer through our personal practices.
Our approach uses methods drawn from a variety of expert practices that are trauma informed and can help us connect and release at physical, emotional, and spiritual levels in order to find resilience, confidence, agency and joy.
We want to offer our support and share our practice at this moment of crisis.
Alex is a facilitator and filmmaker. He has completed training in community facilitation with Processwork UK and develops workshops and programmes across sectors including the NHS, the arts and academica.
Alex also makes films on queerness, Jewishness and untold histoires.
Daniel is a therapist, facilitator and community builder. He has a private practice in Denver, Colorado as a mental health and somatic clinician. He also runs a radically inclusive Jewish community, Base, in Denver with his husband Rabbi Dave Yedid.
He has an MA from the Process Work Institute in Oregon and has studied Jewish texts in Jerusalem and New York. He is also a German translator and has worked at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin.
Lea is a process-oriented psychotherapist, facilitator and trainer. She has worked in private practice since 2015 and is the founder and director of the mental health charity for young people, Act for Change working particularly with abuse and trauma since 2007.
The focus of her work with communities has been collective memory, community conflict, trauma and community development and leadership. She is interested in engaging with diversity issues that both enrich and trouble us.
